Thanks to your Stretching to Flexibility video, I've been able to gain complete range of motion in my arm after a devastating diagnosis of breast cancer. I was in the best shape of my life in October when I felt a lump. (I was 45 years old at the time.) I had a lumpectomy and 28 lymph nodes taken out in November, and now in 4 months of chemotherapy, and will then have radiation in the spring.
Mentally, I have used exercise to anchor me throughout all these treatments..(luckily I have a full gym in my house). The day after I returned home from the hospital, I walked slowly on the treadmill and did your stretching video. I did that everyday at increasing levels, even with lymph node drain tubes under my numb arm. The first day I could barley get my arm to shoulder level. Within 3 weeks, my arm was up by my ear. My surgeon was really impressed with my progress.
Throughout chemotherapy, which I get every 14 days, my goal is to take a modest 2-mile walk on the treadmill and use your video 1-2 days after each treatment. Then I work up to all-out aerobics and resistance training sessions each day until my next chemotherapy treatment. I continue to supplement these workouts with the video 2-3x per week. I understand that many people gain about 7 pounds during chemo because it is so draining. Because I have been so diligent and disciplined with the help of your video, I have maintained my weight throughout this ordeal so far.
If you ever distribute another more advanced stretching video, I will be the first one in line to buy it! I thought you would like to know about the help your video has given me. I've told a friend who works at the cancer support establishment about this video, and they may add it to their library. I also feel so strongly about how it helped me that I will give a copy of it as a gift to people who may have to face this ordeal one day in the future.

Dear Tami
My entire life I was an overweight individual. Last October I guess I finally got sick of being fat. I am 6'0 and at the time weighed 254 pounds! It was the heaviest I ever was.
I started dieting. The weight was coming off and it was great. I then realized that I must also get myself into an exercise routine, which to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to.
I needed something that would start to tone me while I was losing weight. Needless to say, I found your "I Want that Body" tape. I started doing it regularly. Well it's now a little over a year and I have lost 100 pounds and look and feel fantastic.
I now weigh 155 pounds and wear a size 6.sometimes a 4! I used to wear a 20!!!!!!
Your video helped me tremendously. I can actually see definition in my arms and legs. I just have to continue to work on those darn abs!!!
So, I just wanted to write to say thank you so much for coming out with a video that wasn't too torturous for me and helped me slim down to the new me. Thank you so much. Now I just need to go out to get your whole series and hopefully by summer I'll have those wash board abs and be in total shape! Thank you, thank you, and thank you.

Dear Tamilee
Hello Tamilee, thanks to you, I'm inspired to become a fitness model. I love working out with you. I'm on a journey to reach my ultimate goal (115 pounds, 15% body fat) and thanks to you I'm well on my way. At one point I weighed 163# and am now down to 143.
Another goal is to be part of a national fitness competition later this year. I wish I didn't have to enter a contest just to appear in a video with you, because I know I am the most enthused customer you have! I know my enthusiasm for your products would shine through & I'd love to help endorse your programs! I'm already featured on Fitness Made Simple commercials. So I'm no stranger to endorsing what I believe in.
Hope you will write me back soon, and I will send you some pics!
Stay Beautiful!

Dear Tamilee
I just had to write to tell you how much your Beginner's Stretch for Flexibility has helped me. It's really quite unexpected. I was doing your video just because I liked it, not really any specific need. Then I started to get really sick. I had chronic ear infections or what "seemed" to be ear infections. My neck and back started hurting. I was even given morphine once at the hospital, and it didn't help. The only thing that really seemed to help was exercise, and specifically Beginner's Stretch for Flexibility. (although I have a BUNCH of your videos)
Well about 5 months later we found out the trouble I was having was actually caused by my jaw. (I have TMJ) I started treatment and initially the Dr thought I might need physical therapy because the jaw really affected the nerves in my back and neck. First things first, though, he had me fitted for a mouth/jaw splint, and then got me started on some jaw exercises. (actually prying my jaw open for a stretch using clothespins and tongue depressors) Anyways today they wanted to start me on some neck stretches and possibly get me into physical therapy. The exam, though, turned out better than they had thought it would be. When they asked me if I was already doing stretches I told them that I was doing your video, and how there are a few neck stretches in the video, and how at the end of the video when you have your viewers lie down on the floor in a relaxed position, eyes closed, ..you specifically say during that part of the video to relax the jaw. That has helped to remind me not to clench my jaw, not only during the video but also throughout the day. I get a little reminder from Miss Tamilee! :)
The Dr was impressed because most patients don't do that kind of thing on their own. My exam results showed a great deal of improvement and he said it was partly due to my jaw stretches in your video, as well as my sticking to my jaw stretches 4 to 6 times per day. He also said that it may have been because I had started doing your video before I even started my treatment that may have kept me from having more severe problems with my neck and back.
My exam results today were really good, he only wanted me to add a few extra neck stretches from this little booklet gave me. He said that I may be done with treatment ahead of schedule. (it'll still be several months, but not as long as they previously thought.)
I had to gush about your video and how it's really help with my TMJ treatment. :)
Have a great day!

Dear Tamilee
I just wanted to thank you for helping me! I am currently a junior in high school, and all women know how hard it can be to fit in. I applied to a private school an hour away from my hometown, which was a sacrifice in itself.
When I started my freshman year, I was very excited about all the educational opportunities given to me, and the possibilities of meeting new people. But as time went on, I became depressed because I didn't know anyone. I would leave home at 5:00 in the morning and I wouldn't get home until 6:30. I ate little for lunch, and by the time I got home I was starving. I found myself overeating and eating out constantly. Combined with a lack of exercise, this was a recipe for disaster.
Around spring break, I had had with my habits and I decided to do something about it. My entire family was in full support and I even got my brother to diet with me! I did Buns of Steel 3, Thighs of Steel, and Arms and Abs rotating the three. I was strict about my exercise routine and did at least one video per day. I remember every morning I would wake up and weigh myself and I would usually loss a pound a day (combined with a 1200 calorie diet.) I loved the way I felt about myself and my confidence soared through the roof. In total, I lost 30 pounds and went from a size 12 to an 8 (and right now the 8's are feeling a little to big!). I have met so many new people because I have the confidence to meet new people and I know that I look so much better and am healthier.
Your tapes were a true inspiration to me to keep going and not give up and you actually made exercising fun for me. I even started running last year which is something that I always hated and I went out for cross country last fall, which was one of my biggest accomplishments. You helped me keep going and I am so grateful for that. Thank your for helping me and so many others reach our weight loss dreams while getting fit and healthy. You are a wonderful person and thank you so much!

Dear Tamilee
I had to take the time to say "Thank you" for changing my lifestyle. I started Weight Watchers last May in order to lost 10 pounds for my upcoming 30th high school reunion. At the same time, I started an exercise routine built largely around cardio, but including weight training as well. I discovered your shows on the Health Network here in New York and started taping them while I was at work. I usually exercise when I get home in the afternoon. After accumulating to full tapes, I started to look for some other tapes at Collage Video. I bought the Cardio Blast tape and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I find you inspiring and fun to work with. Your motivating tapes have helped me to lost 30 pounds, 4 clothing sizes (from an 8/10 to a women's 2 or junior 3). My family is amazed at the change, effort and dedication I have put into myself. I am now back at my high school weight and feeling better than ever. I work out 7 days a week and use your tapes 4 out of the 7. I am still using the old TV show tapes and you are really keeping me motivated. As a bonus to the weight loss, in 2002 I was diagnosed with the beginning stages of Osteoporosis. This year, the tests indicate that this is reversing and that I am building bone mass, all due to exercise (I haven't taken any supplements). It's time to go do some Cardio Blast. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you, again for the positive changes. Keep inspiring. "Silence is NOT golden"

Dear Tamilee
Tamilee's Buns of Steel workout series has enabled me to lose over 100 pounds. I also followed a low fat healthy diet. I have never had a weight problem. That is until I became pregnant with my son. I am a Type 1 Diabetic, which made my pregnancy extremely difficult. I had wonderful control of my sugars during my pregnancy so much so that the doctors were even impressed. As a result of the tight control, I had many episodes of hypoglycemia and having to constantly eat to keep my sugars stabilized, resulting in a large weight gain, almost 100 pounds. I weighed approximately 138 pounds when I became pregnant with my son. When I walked out of the hospital with my son in my arms, I weighed 235 pounds.
To this day, I do not regret the large weight gain. I did what I had to do to keep my son healthy. At the time, I was 5 feet 6 inches tall. Once I healed, I was determined to take the weight off. At first I started with your step aerobic tapes. Ten months after starting the step aerobic tapes, I weighed 132 pounds. I then needed something with more resistance to help tone and lift my muscles. I started with Tamilee's Thighs of Steel and Abs of Steel and that was over a year ago and I still workout to these tapes. Your exercise tapes have helped me out tremendously. The health benefits have been amazing. It is almost effortless now to control my sugars, which my A1 c tests are always in non-diabetic range, which means I will have a long life free of diabetic complication and be able to see my son grow into a man and have his own family. They have straightened out my back and improved my posture.
I now stand over 5 feet 7 inches tall. I have had back pain all my life. Since doing your tapes, I now no longer have back pain. My weight has stabilized. My weight no longer fluctuates. For over a year now, my weight has stayed within a few pounds of 130. The big difference is I no longer wear extra, extra, extra large clothes. I am a size 3 or 4 depending on what I wear!!!
Tamilee, I absolutely adore you and give you much credit for where I am today. I HIGHLY recommend your tapes. They are no nonsense and you always get results!!!
Thank you so very much,
Angie Schubert
Hello Tamilee
I emailed you when I began your videos and was very negative about my body. No longer. The dimples in front of my thighs disappeared in the first week of my workouts. And I can now count the dimples in my bottom..whereas before they were too numerous to even try. I went out a few weeks ago and bought new swim wear. I got the kind that has sort of high shorts instead of the regular bikini bottoms.I could never pull this off before because I sagged way too much back there. But now I'm comfortable with it and I look good from behind. I can't get over how much better I feel.
I gained three pounds since beginning a routine of one hour a day five days a week. I've got to say that I've never looked so good at 138lbs. I adopted an aerobic plan of maybe two or three times a week. I'm just not into aerobics that much, however, your video Buns of Steel step aerobic workout is fun.I can live with it.
It's kind of neat to walk down the hall of my own home and press my index fingers against my upper hips and feel the muscles instead of fat. I am, however, kind of confused. I've not lost more than 2 inches of my waist but my abs look better. Before, I could actually see the fat cells..ugh.I don't like to say it..but now my abs look smooth even though I still have a good layer of fat to work on. I'm ok with that. What I've done is progress, and now I know that under the fat I have left to work off.and I'm getting rid of more of it each day.I've got one nice body. I got carded a couple of weeks ago in a restaurant and I'll be thirty-eight this November. I wonder if my working out caused this to happen.
Thanks Tamilee for getting me started. I know seek out your DVD's and Video's.
Penny
Tamilee:
Forgot to tell you yesterday how much my radio audience enjoyed your interview. The DVD's have found good homes, I assure you. Not to be a broken record or anything, but I am crazy about "Hard Rock Assets." You got this girl movin' and groovin' every day now. I feel like crap if I don't do my workout..and that's just not like me, LOL!
Here is a testimony and picture for your website if you want to use it. Feel free to edit any way you want, so it works best for you.
"Hi, I'm Candi Chamberlain, a Northern CA radio personality. I am also the poster girl for "I hate to work out!!" At least I was until Tamilee Webb's "Fit to the Hits" video came out. If you love to dance as much as I do, and you hate to work out as much as I do, then THESE are the workouts for you! You can do either Motown Moves or Hard Rock Assets, and you will find yourself actually looking forward to your workout everyday! I never thought it was possible, but I am finally exercising almost everyday and actually having a great time doing it because Tamilee's workouts are so much fun, and so easy, to do. Try it! You'll see what I mean!"
Thanks again Tamilee. Hope I've been able to help, because you sure have helped me!!!
Warm regards,
--Candi Chamberlain
Hello,
There is never nearly as much about "skinny girls" and fitness as there is about those who need to lose weight. I happen to be a skinny girl and wanted to share my wonderful experiences since I started to work out with Tamilee Webb.
I have been thin my whole life and never really worked out or watched my diet. I could always eat whatever I wanted - cheeseburgers & fries, pizza, ice cream - and it would not seem to make a bit of difference. Then about two years ago, at the age of 35 I started to notice this extra little roll of belly wanting to pooch out over my jeans. I also begin to notice jiggling in my triceps area when I would raise my arm to wave to someone - and thin or not, it seemed to me that my rear end was getting rather soft and jiggly. I did weigh myself and saw that I was still my usual 114 lbs. (I haven't gained anything since high school). So at first I just ignored it and told myself it was because of my desk job and that it wouldn't get any worse. I was a "skinny girl" after all! But then one day after I had gotten out of the shower I was appalled to notice stretch marks on my rear end and lower back! I had been told how skinny I was my whole life and I suppose that led me to the assumption that jiggling and stretch marks were only for those who were overweight. What a rude awakening.
I jumped online and began to scour websites for information on health and fitness and came across Tamilee's "Abs, Arms & Lower Body of Steel" CD. I had always heard that home workouts were inferior to the gym but I didn't have much money or much time to dedicate to a gym back then so I decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did because I absolutely loved it. I loved the fact that it was easy to fit into my often erratic schedule and relieved that I didn't need a lot of space for the workouts because I lived in a small apartment at the time. I could do several 10 minute workouts throughout the day or several in a row as my time allowed. I could also mix and match to fit which body areas I thought I needed more work on a particular day and use different size weights if I needed more of a challenge. The exercises were challenging enough to make me feel that I had gotten results, however they were easy to follow. There was no complicated jumping around and spinning right off the bat - just very clear instruction by Tamilee. I began to feel the results within 2 weeks and I really began to see the results within 6 weeks. Over the past two years I also moved on to the "I Want that Body" CD and both of the "Tighter Assets" cardio and step CDs. Talk about getting your heart pumping! The "Tight on Time" CD is being shipped to me as I write this as well. I also started to follow Tamiliee's nutrition advice and have seen even greater results and my energy has skyrocketed. I sleep better and my attitude at work and life in general has improved dramatically. Being motivated about my health has made me feel motivated in all other aspects of my life. I just got a promotion at work and my relationship with my boyfriend has never been better. Now I understand what Tamiliee meant by mind/body connection.
There is no more jiggling and I know that they say stretch marks can not be erased but mine have diminished so much that I really have to look closely to see any trace of them and they completely disappear with just a little bit of sun! Believe it or not!
I want to thank Tamilee so much for making such a difference in my life.
A note to all those skinny 20-somethings out there - stretch marks, a belly roll and a flabby rear end could be in your future too even if you never gain an ounce! Take it from me. Start taking care of yourself now because the longer you wait the harder it gets!
And by all means give Tamilee's workouts a try. You have nothing to lose (literally) and everything to gain (literally).
Thanks again.
